Lost in the Sauce was founded by four friends following four successful years within HETV Craft services as ‘The Crafty Boys’, each developing a passion to improve the quality of food on set.
Having catered on major productions, including projects with Apple TV and Alfonso Cuaron, they appreciate how the quality of their food can impact the atmosphere on-set. This is why you’ll see their feet on the ground, stuck in with prep, service and everything in-between. As such, they believe that the passion they put into making their food delicious can elevate the mood on set.
Lost in the Sauce are committed to sustainable practices. They serve in compostable containers and design their kitchens to use all electric appliances. Their menus are designed to keep food waste to a minimum and use seasonal ingredients with a low carbon footprint.
They work with productions and sustainability teams to explore sustainable practices, such as reusables and green generator usage, and are always happy to talk through any ideas on this subject. The film industry is moving towards sustainability and we believe caterers should play a part in driving this forward.
