Floor Runner in Features & TV Drama

Having observed the strategic and communicative roles of ADs on set, I know I can evolve within these roles with an abundant confidence. The combination of being both curious and needing to be in control has always focused my life on needing to know how things work. There’s unquestionable joy when a plan or design works how you intended it to.
I come from a background in art, my practice centred on designing mechanical and kinetic installations that involved a lot of trial and error, forcing me to rapidly problem solve and think of creative solutions constantly.
I’ve been writing and directing my own shorts and music videos for the past 5 years. I wholeheartedly understand the necessity of planning and communication between departments. I’ve been hungrily throwing myself at any opportunity of professional work, resulting in me experiencing work in most departments on set, alongside running my own productions.
I’m resilient and dedicated to this department, it’s a role that makes sense to me organically. The art of sculpting a director’s vision alongside a capable crew is the most rewarding process I can imagine.
