Production company: Flare
Agency: AMV/BBDO
Director: Darius Norwozian
Producer: Cleo Hodgkinson
My Role: Producer
Additional Information: This was one of a series of content films made to celebrate the centenary of Hilton. Working with the owners of the Hilton and collaboration of the management and staff, it tells the story of how the Hilton in Buenos Aires was build on derelict land. It attracted a lot of local investment and further development and then became one of the smartest neighbourhoods in the city. The story also shows how one of the hotel staff has been working to help some of the poor and homeless in the city, with food and clothing donations from the hotel and the general manager also helping out with those distributions.

Directed by Darius Norowzian it was one of 11 films produced by Flare for Hilton. I produced the US ones and supervised post on others. We took a very small team to each location around the world and sourced local crew to back them up. It was a fascinating journey and a really enjoyable campaign to work on.
Title: Electric Sceptics
Production company: Flare
Agency: AMVBBDO
Director: Andrea Kapos
Producer: Cleo Hodgkinson
My Role: Producer (Production & Agency)
Additional Information: This is a cutdown from an on-line campaign of 8, commissioned by Department of Transport to encourage uptake of electric cars. It required us to find 8 specific and different brands of electric cars with owners who were prepared to be filmed in them, then find out what they didn't like and look for a real person who was involved in that field. They met for the first time with us before going on a road trip to talk about the car and their interests. We used almost the same crew throughout as the project took nearly 6 months from approval to delivery. This was my favourite, but they were all great fun to work on. None of the long versions available any more.

Producer: Peter Masterton/Megan Ayers
My Role: Agency Producer
Additional Information: This was a hidden camera challenge/content film to show how children are so distracted by their devices they don't notice what is going on around them. We filmed with 4 different families in Sydney. In each case the hidden cameras were set up while the children were out. We then asked the family to prepare and start supper, then changed things around them while they played on their devices. None of them noticed any changes, even when a member of the family was replaced. A great success and a fun if complicated job to shoot.

My Role: Producer
Additional Information: This promo was commissioned to announce the merging of Sky Arts 1 & 2. It meant shooting interviews with some of the amazing talent that work for Sky. Asking them what they liked about various genres in the arts it produced some wonderful sound bites. With very little time allowed for each interviewee we had to be clever with the use of locations and making it feel like a casual chat with a friend, it worked really well. A highlight for me to work with some of the icons of the entertainment industry.

With limited availability of the talent we had a lot to do in 2 days with a promo and stills campaign to cover. Palma Pictures in Mallorca were the facility company who did an amazing job on helping us make it happen. It was also incredibly hot and in the middle of the holiday season and there was no access to any beaches, so we had to create a desert in a scrubby field which was quite a challenge.
