Inspired by many sleepless nights, along with the strange and often stressful experience of becoming a first-time parent. It must be strange being a baby, everything is unknown and scary. Created during the covid-19 lock-down.

Additional Information: Turner Broadcasting created their own VOD app Toonix, and to help with the launch William created a sizzle for their marketing department to use for promotion at sales events. This involved a shoot, and blending live action footage with custom animated characters like Tom and Jerry, Scooby Do and Adventure Time. This required meticulous planning, storyboarding, and working closely with an animator and designer. William also took care of some of some of the compositing, and visual effects himself.
The client were so happy with the end result, they then ask for an advert to be made using the sizzle shoot sequences.

Additional Information: William took part in one of Turner Broadcasting and ActionAid's charity trips. While there he self-shot, produced and directed a short video for CNN Digital, which was also displayed in the main foyer of the building. The same footage was also provided to ActionAid for their own use.

ASMR based horror that might get CLOSER than you imagine. Grab some headphones, and hold tight.
SYNOPSIS
Stumbling across ASMR videos late one night, Sarah is intrigued by the phenomenon and its calming effects. When a suspicious video pops up and automatically plays, soon she accidentally ventures down an online rabbit hole. Plagued by phantom whispers and apparitions, she is unsure if everything is in her head or real.
WHAT IS ASMR
ASMR means Automated Sensory Meridian Response, this is a pleasant tingling on the back of the neck and head caused by certain sounds (whispering) or visuals, and which some people use to help relax or to get sleep. Looking for an new angle in horror, it was our own experience and appreciation of ASMR that lead us to create this short.

SYNOPSIS
North of Tokyo, hidden between the mountains amongst frozen forests lives a creature both well known to the rest of the world and completely unique to Japan. The Snow Monkey, or Japanese Macaque is the only primate with the exception of humans to live so far north and in such cold conditions.
The documentary takes an up close look at these fascinating creatures, and explores their mysterious world and how they have learned to fight the cold. Nicknamed Hell’s Valley, the region where they live is known for it’s volcanic steam vents and natural hot springs. It’s these naturally occurring wonders that have helped provide the monkeys with an igneous way to stay warm, they learnt how to take a hot bath.
The documentary is now avilible here on Amazon Prime, and the footage and an interview with William were licenced by Barcroft Media for broadcast on Sky TV and Barcroft's own Beastly YouTube channel.

When the fancy-dress brand Rubies partnered with Warner Brothers, William created an engaging, brand authentic advert for kids, recreating some key moments from Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts to demonstrate the outfits.
